The Cunning Plan:
Holyhead Sailing Club is delighted to be hosting the second Celtic Cup Sailing Regatta from Saturday 6th to Sunday 7th June 2026, with launching scheduled for Friday 5th June. The event will take place in the beautiful waters in and around Holyhead Bay, offering spectacular coastal scenery and fantastic sailing conditions.
The Celtic Cup is a friendly and welcoming regatta, bringing together Squib sailors from both sides of the Irish Sea and beyond. With a perfect blend of great racing, warm hospitality, and stunning views, we hope the event will serve as an ideal lead-in regatta for the UK Squib Nationals later in June.
As an added bonus, sailors travelling from Ireland are welcome to leave their boats at Holyhead for easy collection en route to Abersoch for the Nationals a couple of weeks later.
